Ariel (b. 1994) and CJ (b. 1997) have been best friends since 1997 when CJ was born! We’ve collaborated on tons of projects (CJ is the editor for Books Unbound, Ariel has filmed multiple of CJ’s music videos, to name a few!) and are having a blast putting together an awesome trip!

Why are you in good hands? We're a dream team for a literary travel trip and we’ve done this before! Our 2026 trips were super special and we look forward to hosting more in the future!

Ariel: Has an undergraduate and masters degree in English literature, hosts one of the biggest book podcasts in Canada, has hosted literary trips in the past, and has been lucky enough to attend several different literary tourism events. Anne of Green Gables is one of Ariel’s favourite books and LM Montgomery has a dedicated shelf in her office!

CJ: Works professionally as an events coordinator including being stage manager at the Juno Awards in 2024, running Nova Scotia Music Week in 2023 and 2025, and has been the festival coordinator for Emerge, YAC, and more!

Together: we both love reading and we both did speech competitions as children so we will not be shy when we have to say “everybody on the bus!” Plus our curly hair is very easy to spot from far away which is great for tour guides.
